Privacy notice

Last updated 10 October 2026

This notice explains what personal data we collect when you visit binaryshore.com or contact us, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible

The data controller is Binary Shore Kft., registered at 1124 Budapest, Hegyalja út 83. B. lház. 1. em. 10. You can reach us about anything in this notice at contact@binaryshore.com.

What we collect and why

When you contact us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, company name if you give it, and whatever you write in your message. We use this only to reply to you and to discuss a possible project. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).

When you visit the site. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, which is needed to deliver the website securely and to protect it from abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f)).

Analytics and cookies. This website does not use analytics or tracking tools and does not set cookies.

We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you.

Who processes data for us

  • Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States: website hosting.
  • Resend, Inc., United States: delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
  • Our email provider, to receive and store the messages you send us.

Some of these providers are based in, or may access data from, the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry messages for 12 months after our last exchange, unless we enter into a contract with you, in which case records are kept for as long as the contract and applicable accounting and legal obligations require. Hosting logs are kept for the short period set by our hosting provider.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it
  • have inaccurate data corrected
  • have your data deleted, or its use restricted
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests
  • receive data you provided in a portable format

To use any of these rights, email contact@binaryshore.com. We will respond within the time limits set by the GDPR.

You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Hungary this is the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11, naih.hu. You may also contact the authority in the EU country where you live or work.

Changes

If we change how we use personal data, we will update this notice and the date at the top. Company details are listed on our company information page.
